Origins: A Life Rooted in Organic Land Care

The story of The Cultivated Path, Rooted Careers, and Gaia Greenscapes begins with founder James “Jimi” Carnazza’s deep connection to the natural world.

In 2012, Jimi became a NOFA Accredited Organic Land Care Professional (AOLCP)—igniting over 15 years of commitment to ecological stewardship and regenerative practices. His work with the land has always been more than a profession; it is a calling, a meditation, and a way of honoring the interconnectedness of all life.

This connection to the earth forms the foundation for everything Jimi creates.

Cultivating Meaning: Coaching, Counseling & Conscious Living

Jimi’s path expanded from the soil outward. In 2017, he earned his Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credential and a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling, and began serving as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at a state vocational rehabilitation agency—a role he has held for nine years and counting.

Across this decade-long career, Jimi has guided hundreds of individuals through:

Navigating disability-related challenges
Building confidence, clarity, and workplace readiness
Achieving meaningful, life-aligned employment

This experience deeply informs Rooted Careers, grounding his coaching in real-world expertise, compassion, and transformational guidance.

In 2024, Jimi expanded his work further by becoming an Infinite Possibilities Trainer (TUT.com) as well as practicing the power of Presence with Ekhart Tolle's Living a Life of Presence—weaving empowerment, spirituality, and mindset training into his coaching, podcasting, and community offerings.

A New Chapter: Farming at Moraine Farm

In 2025, Jimi launched Gaia Greenscapes LLC into a new and vibrant chapter by beginning a farming adventure at the iconic Moraine Farm in Beverly, MA through the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project.

The first growing season flourished with:

Organic dahlias (the stars of the season)
Zinnias, cosmos, marigolds, and sunflowers

Jimi found deep joy and gratitude in connecting daily with both the land and the local North Shore community. Farming from sunrise to sunset became a grounding, humbling practice—one filled with beauty, reverence, and heartfelt human connection. The farm grew not only flowers—but friendships, inspiration, and deep gratitude.

What began as a dream became a blooming reality.

Today, Jimi proudly grows organic dahlias in Beverly, MA, serving both retail and wholesale customers with flowers that uplift, inspire, and connect. His mission is simple:

Through sustainable flowers, organic land care, and purpose-driven coaching, Jimi continues to create a thriving, heart-centered green enterprise that nourishes both the earth and the people who inhabit it.
